To a simpleton like Julius Malema many things probably seem easy, like nationalisation of the countries mines and what to have for dinner (KFC or Nandos?)

Im not an Economist either but I do posses one thing that Malema does not and that is common sense. The government receives more benefit financially from the mines being privately controlled than it would if it had to bail them out at the end of every financial year (as would surely be the case in the event of ANC controlled nationalisation)

The mines employ many thousands and generate revenue in the form of taxes and foreign currency amongst many others. Why oh why can Malema not see this?
