Monday the 1st of March 2010 is proving to be a very Blue Monday for ANCYL President Julius Malema. Last week the media started to dig up all kinds of interesting things about him like his involement in companies that are benefitting very handsomely from government tenders, his wealth and assets and his personal life.
Last week he also took a swing at journalists when he accused them of sleeping around to get information. Its seems like revenge is the order of the day and the City Press and the Natal Mercury have really come out swinging today with reports that he has an invalid drivers license, many outstanding traffic fines and that all work his company SGL Engineering has done in the form of bridges and roads were washed away in the first rains. Transport Minister Sbu Ndebele has said transport officials will look into reports that several newly-built bridges and roads in Limpopo have been washed away just weeks after their completion.
Malema has never been known for building bridges and it thus comes as no surprise to this writer that those he has tried to build have washed away.
